Manicures - give your hands a treat!
A manicure is quite simply beauty treatment for your hands and nails. A variety of creams, oils and maybe even waxes are used to clean and shape your nails, look after your cuticles and improve how your hands look and feel. A good nail manicure can improve the appearance and health of the nails and the skin of your hands, to leave them looking polished and attractive.

A manicure treatment can be for either the hands or nail and it can be for both. A typical manicure beauty treatment is shaping of the nails and the application of polish. In addition, a spa manicure treatment may also include the use of artificial nail tips or acrylics. Indeed some manicures involve application of designs on the nail or incorporating small decals (imitation jewels) or could include a french manicure or a beauty manicure, Sydney.
There's not much for you to do before your manicure. It's a courtesy to ensure your hands and nails are clean before to save the manicurist time during the treatment. Similarly removing any traces of residual nail polish may facilitate the treatment.
What to expect from a manicure
Generally speaking, the longer appointment time with the manicure then the more you can reasonably expect. A good manicurist will explain what she is going to do in the treatment and should check in to make sure that any questions or concerns you may have are addressed before the treatment begins.
The manicurist will use a series of tools and methods to clean, shape and strengthen your nails. The manicure may also involve the use of creams and/or oils to condition your hands A hand massage is always a nice touch but obviously appointment time may constrain whether this is included or not. A manicurist will apply your choice of nail varnish and/or honours.
After the manicure
Quality nail polish can take a significant length of time to dry so make sure your manicurist lets you know of any precautions you should take. Don't think about doing any manual work (even typing on a computer keyboard can chip the polish).
Precautions
If you have an injury , wound or rash on you should probably wait until you recover before you book a manicure.
