Welcome to the latest edition of Massage Moves and the first
edition for 2006. We hope you had a great Christmas and a happy and
healthy 2006. Since our last newsletter a new therapist, Betty,
has joined our team. In addition to being able to provide high
quality remedial, relaxation and sports massages, Betty is a
qualified beauty therapist and provides mobile beauty treatments
such as pedicures/manicures, facials, spray tannings and waxing (nb
Patrick
also provides a home waxing service). If you want any more
information about these treatments or are thinking of booking a
combined massage/pamper party then please give us a call on 0421
410057.
Also if you prefer a deeper massage then check out
the article on Richard's Deep Tissue Massage - a different style of
massage compared to a table remedial massage. For readers of Massage
Moves there is a special offer for those who wish to experience a 3
hour full body Deep Tissue Massage.
We look forward to
helping you in 2006. Best Wishes Richard and the Inner West
Massage team.

Pregnancy and Posture |
 |
Many of the discomforts experienced by pregnant women can be
related to poor posture. The extra weight of the baby when coupled
with the effect of loosened ligaments can put extra load on the
spine. This article introduces some tips that may assist
mothers-to-be in maintaining good pregnancy posture.

Deep Tissue Massage |
 |
There are a number of misconceptions about the massage technique
and many massage therapists may confuse Deep Tissue Massage with a
deep Remedial Massage. Many remedial massage therapists offer
Deep Tissue Massage on their menu of massage service (including
Inner West Massage). But what is Deep Tissue Massage? This
article provides an introduction to Deep Tissue Massage (and
includes a special offer for those interested in experiencing a 3
hour full body Deep Tissue Massage!)

A soft drink a day
.....! |
 |
Drinking more than one sugar-sweetened soft drink a day appears
to increase the probability of a woman developing type 2 Diabetes, a
recent US study has found. The study indicated that those who drank
one or more sugary drinks a day had an 83% greater chance of
developing diabetes than women who drank less than one a month. The
extra sugar in these soft fizzy drinks does more than just add
kilograms.
