Spray Tanning Tips
We are all aware of the dangers of sun-tanning and there are now also calls to regulate the spray tanning booth industry. The most popular alternative to ultra-violet tanning (be it from the sun or from a booth) is spray-on tan.

Whilst spray-on tans can be self applied, if the tan is required for an important event or occasion then it is recommended that it be applied by a professional. This can be performed within a beauty salon or in the confines of your own home.
Regardless of where and by whom you choose to have the spray tan applied then here are a few tips to ensure that you look your best for as long as possible.
Unfortunately we no longer offer mobile spray tan services. If any mobile therapists wish to promote their beauty/spray tan services through this website then please email us at info@innerwestmassage.com.au
Regardless of where and by whom you choose to have the spray tan applied then here are a few tips to ensure that you look your best for as long as possible.
- Exfoliate It is virtually essential to exfoliate with a quality loofah (or something similar) so that the tan won't disappear on skin that is about to fall from your body.
- Moisturise Follow up the exfoliation by using a water based moisturiser (don't forget knees and elbows which can be drier than elsewhere). This needs to be done around several hours before the spray tan application so that the moisturiser does not interact with the spray tan. It is recommended not to use moisturisers than contain oil as it can interfere with the tan from penetrating the skin.
